Reflection – Behind the behavior

We don’t pause enough to realize…

that behind “drinking”
there is often not a choice,
but a story.

Stories of people
who have been through things
they could no longer carry.

They are not people who just drink…
they are people who tried to forget,
to soften the pain,
or simply to stop feeling for a while.

And yet…
we laugh sometimes,
we judge,
we point without knowing.

Maybe it’s time
to look less with our eyes…
and more with our hearts.

Because behind every struggle
there is a human being
who once was just looking for peace.
