Destructie is geen dreiging meer.
Ze is dagelijkse realiteit geworden.

Oekraïne brandt.
Gaza huilt.
Machten dreigen.
Wapens spreken sneller dan woorden.

De wereld schuift gevaarlijk op
naar een tijd waarin oorlog normaal wordt
en vrede een uitzondering.

Maar wij mogen dat niet normaal vinden.

Wij mogen niet wennen aan bommen.
Niet wennen aan kinderen onder puin.
Niet wennen aan leiders die vuur voeden
in plaats van het te blussen.

Oorlog is geen strategie.
Het is falen.
Moreel falen.

En toch…

Het is nog niet te laat.

Niet te laat om te zeggen: genoeg.
Niet te laat om te kiezen voor dialoog boven dreiging.
Niet te laat om menselijkheid boven macht te plaatsen.

Vrede begint niet bij raketten.
Ze begint bij geweten.

Bij mensen die weigeren
om haat te normaliseren.
Bij mensen die weigeren
om oorlog entertainment te noemen.
Bij mensen die nog voelen.

Ik kies geen kant in haat.
Ik kies de kant van menselijk leven.

Want wie vandaag zwijgt,
leert morgen leven in puin.

Het is nog niet te laat.

Maar het is later dan we denken.

Manifest of Conscience

Destruction is no longer a threat.
It has become daily reality.

Ukraine burns.
Gaza grieves.
Powers threaten.
Weapons speak faster than words.

The world is shifting
toward a time where war feels normal
and peace becomes the exception.

But we must not normalize this.

We must not get used to bombs.
Not get used to children under rubble.
Not get used to leaders who fuel fire
instead of extinguishing it.

War is not strategy.
It is failure.
Moral failure.

And yet…

It is not too late.

Not too late to say: enough.
Not too late to choose dialogue over destruction.
Not too late to place human life above power.

Peace does not begin with missiles.
It begins with conscience.

With people who refuse
to normalize hatred.
With people who refuse
to treat war as spectacle.
With people who still feel.

I do not choose sides in hatred.
I choose the side of human life.

Because those who stay silent today
may learn to live in ruins tomorrow.

It is not too late.

But it is later than we think.
